Two subway cars detached from the rest of the train at a Bronx subway station Sunday evening forcing passengers to evacuate. According to the MTA, just after 5 p.m., the third and fourth cars of the southbound 4 train detached near the 149th Street-Grand Concourse station. A rescue train was sent to help passengers transfer from the disabled train to the platform. It is unclear how many people were on the train at the time.
