We have begun striking coins bearing His Majesty King Charles III's portrait, and you can expect to see 50ps featuring the Queen Elizabeth II Memorial design on the reverse of the coins in your change before Christmas. All circulating coins struck from then on in 2023 will feature the King's portrait, but they will only enter circulation when there is demand from banks and cash centres.
