This week in 1989, "Two Hearts" by Phil Collins reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Co-produced with Lamont Dozier - the song was the first of two worldwide hits to come from the "Buster" soundtrack. A soundtrack that Phil was adamant he would not produce music for as he envisioned a break from music and a return to his acting roots. Despite this, he left the process with two US #1 singles, a Grammy, a Golden Globe and a Brit Award for his soundtrack contributions. 📹 Performed here on ZDF Kult
