A sculptor has been chosen to create a new Submariner Memorial inspired by a Royal Navy family. Paul Day’s finished bronze artwork will be unveiled next year at the National Memorial Arboretum. He is currently working on a design which is based on one from the Groves family – three generations of whom served in the Royal Navy - and who won a national competition last year.
