Some things to note on the ‘41 Dodge Luxury Liner I owned. There are no driver side keyed locks on many cars of this era. The passenger side has the only keyed door lock. That’s because in most cases the car is parked on the street and the passenger door would face the curb. (I guess this also forced you to be considerate of your passenger by letting them in first and hope they unlock the driver’s door for you??)
