Natural progression ⬇️ Start hiking/running. 45mins to 1 hour of intense cardio every day. This is going to help you trim the foundation and it will give you a solid foundation to build on. Personally, I did this for over a year, but you could get most of the benefit of improved cardio/endurance in a few months… The next step is to build on some of that leg strength you got on the trail. Barbell back squats. This might be the best exercise for both strength and size. It’s a foundational movement
