Mocha diffusion is a wonderful technique that was discovered in England and used by Mocha ware potters during the 16th and 17th century. The branching tree like pattern that occurs from an acid/base chemical reaction mimics nature. On my thrown and altered pocket flask, I am taking advantage of Mocha Diffusion's inherent organic quality.
