I got a sweet surprise when I went out to clean Valentino’s cage and put his food out this morning. He’s usually in a nesting box asleep and I only see him on the night cameras as these elusive cuties are nocturnal. He isn’t held or touched now, and that’s the way he wants it. He tolerates me because he knows me. These are absolutely stunningly beautiful animals, very fast, can climb almost like a squirrel, are smaller than stripped skunks, they’re not urban dwellers like the striped skunks. It
