Holy moly! Look what we captured yesterday on top of Mount Washington: a rare phenomenon known as a #FogBow which is the same idea as a rainbow: when the raindrops fill the air, you see a rainbow in the direction opposite the sun. Fogbows are the same, opposite the sun, however, the small droplets inside fog (or cloud) create a fogbow as compared larger raindrops that create a rainbow! Mount Washington Observatory | Janice Dean
