I get a lot of questions on how we catch so many wahoo here off Fort Lauderdale and what rigs we use. In this video, I explain how we rig up live bonita for slow trolling. Using a 3 hook rig, we rarely lose wahoo due to short strikes and have increased our catch rate big time. It's that time of year now and we are already getting fish. Pre-fishing for the NE Florida Wahoo Shootout and landed this beast of a wahoo at 99 lbs!🎉 The big boys were chewing yesterday! We wouldn't trust a fish of this size to anything but 2 Morita Custom Gaffs! There was plenty of bait to be found and our tuna tubes kept the Bonita alive for hours as designed! 🎣We left a couple of big boys out there but not by our choice!
