Who we are & what we do - Animal Aid
Animal Aid is one of the world’s longest established animal rights groups, having been founded in 1977. We campaign peacefully against all forms of animal abuse and promote cruelty-free living. Our vision is a world in which animals are no longer harmed and exploited for human gain, but allowed to live out their lives in peace.

We've won the Lush prize! - Animal Aid
May 21, 2024 · Animal Aid were shortlisted for this global award, alongside many amazing projects, so it really is a huge honour and privilege to win. The Lush Prize has different categories, such as ‘lobbying’, ‘training’ and ‘science’, and the ‘public awareness’ category had entrants from the UK, France, Chile, the Netherlands and the US.
Animal Experiments - Animal Aid
Every 8 seconds, one animal dies. Cats, dogs, rats, mice, guinea pigs, rabbits, monkeys and other animals are used to test new products, to study human disease and in the development of new drugs. They are even used in warfare experiments. Animal Aid opposes animal experiments on both moral and scientific grounds. Animals are not laboratory tools.
