Nov 15, 2023 · Orlando’s Fire Station 11 at 4925 Curry Ford Road is nearly finished after a major rebuild. The “Beast of the East” now has a state-of-the-art facility replacing the 1973 structure. Construction began on the new 14,918-square-foot station in the Dover Shores community in November 2022.

The new Fire Station 11 “The Beast of the East” is officially open on Curry Ford Rd. It will be home to 33 firefighters, house 4 bays and 4 units. It’s designed to enhance operations while continuing to provide top-rated service.
