The board LEDs and moves detection system looks similar to the ChessUp ones, but unlike the ChessUp you don't need a smartphone aside to host an app with a powerful enough chess engine: with the L6 it is on board with plenty of levels from very weak up to very (really!) strong.

The chessmen are carved wooden pieces from India, and though not a very premium set, are perfectly competent and look very handsome when compared to alternatives. This is a wonderful device and quite possibly the best in class in terms of playing online on chess.com and Lichess using physical chessmen.

It however doesn't tell you why such moves are bad.
