Benjamin P. Cherington (born July 14, 1974) is an American baseball executive serving as the general manager of the Pittsburgh Pirates of Major League Baseball (MLB) since November 2019. [2]

Cherington took over for the outgoing Neal Huntington, and was one of three new hires for the organization along with manager Derek Shelton and team president Travis Williams.
