Elmo Gideon (11 January 1924 — 20 December 2010) was an American Master Artist and Sculptor of the 20th and 21st centuries. His paintings and sculptures include some of the world's most known subjects, including the famous Gideon Holocaust Collection.

For decades, Gideon created hundreds of magnificent serious works of art, both painting and sculpture. His heavy, thick paint was often a staple signature of his unique works. As early as the 1950’s, Gideon began painting his world-famous “old men” and harbor scenes.
