This chapter will outline the qualitative data collection methods used, describe the analytic techniques employed as well as presenting the findings from this phase of the research study. The findings will be fully discussed with links to current literature identified in Chapter 1.
Findings of text analyses (Qualitative). Use the purpose statement as the connecting link between and among chapters. According to Simon (2006), the length of a qualitative Chapter Four can range between 25-35 pages determined by number of themes. A quantitative design is typically shorter ranging from 15-25 pages. Why is this necessarily so?
In this chapter, I describe the qualitative analysis of the data, including the practical steps involved in the analysis. A quantitative analysis of the data follows in Chapter 5. In the qualitative phase, I analyzed the data into generative themes, which will be described individually. I describe how the themes overlap.
This chapter comprises the analysis, presentation and interpretation of the findings resulting from this study. The analysis and interpretation of data is carried out in two phases.

Findings (qualitative), Results (quantitative, and Discussion (quantitative) In a qualitative study the information to be reported is called findings . Findings are those themes that have emerged from or have been found in the data you collected.
4 Qualitative Research Design A common feature of qualitative projects is that they aim to create understanding from data as the analysis proceeds. This means that the research design of a qualitative study differs from that of a study that starts with an …
This chapter reviews the results and analysis of the qualitative data, the compilation of the questionnaire and the results and analysis of the quantitative findings of the study.
Analysis and Coding Example- Qualitative Data - Chapter 4
Nov 13, 2024 · Analysis and Coding Example: Qualitative Data The following is an example of how to engage in a three step analytic process of coding, categorizing, and identifying themes within the data presented. Note that different researchers would come up with different results based on their specific research questions, literature review findings, and ...
With reference to the research methodology discussed in chapter 1, the goal of this chapter is to discuss the qualitative study conducted as part of this research. To achieve the goal of this chapter then, the objective of this study, as stated in chapter 1, needs to be considered.
Understanding how qualitative content analysis is done is key to under-standing this qualitative research method. If you think about it, you will realize that qualitative data collection produces an abundance of data— pages and pages of transcripts of …
