The series continues to center on the Five-0 Task Force, a specialized state police task force, established by the Hawaiian Governor that investigates major crimes in the state of Hawaii including murder, terrorism, and human trafficking.

While a hurricane lashes Oahu, the Five-0 must house a federal prisoner with a history of escaping. Danny has houseguests during the storm, while an evacuation patrol puts Tani in a dangerous situation.

As a dangerous hurricane hits Oahu, Five-0 is tasked with protecting El Diablo (Raoul Trujillo), a captured serial killer who is being hunted by an assassin. When the top salesperson for a beauty company/pyramid scheme is murdered, Five-0 sifts through a long list of possible suspects who would want her dead.
