Jul 7, 2020 · I just noticed the same problem with my new galaxy tab s6 lite. However if you use the free Office suite app, it allows you to use Word (and Excel,etc i believe) without a subscription just like on other mobile devices. I just opened Word using the Office app before sending this reply. Hope this helps!
