Washington expected to rule out star cornerback Tacario Davis with injury for Week 5 college football matchup against Ohio State

It looked like No. 1 Ohio State was going to have a four-quarter fight on its hands at Washington on Saturday before pulling away for a 24-6 win on the road. The Buckeyes' dominant defense kept the Huskies out of the end zone, allowing just six points on three drives that reached the 30.

Washington entered the game against Ohio State as an underdog at home, but Husky stadium is one of the toughest places to play in all of college football. Being an underdog, teams are willing to go deep into their playbook and see if they can catch the favorite off guard and get some free points.

Ohio State’s defense has given up 16 points in three games and redshirt freshman QB Julian Sayin is the early-season completion percentage leader. Demond Williams and Washington’s offense could hang with Ohio State.

Ohio State has stormed through the season undefeated so far, powered by a top-10 defense in the country. The next challenge, though, is in Seattle, the home of the Washington Huskies.
