Commanders hopeful Jayden Daniels will start against Chargers
Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels could return to action when the Commanders visit the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Meanwhile, Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert will be operating behind a decimated offensive line as Los Angeles looks to bounce back from a 21-18 road loss to the New York Giants.
If Becton returns Sunday but Alt is out, the Chargers could play either Austin Deculus or Jamaree Salyer at left tackle. Remember that Salyer filled in admirably at that spot in 2022 when Rashawn Slater suffered a biceps injury.
Quinn revealed to the media that quarterback Jayden Daniels has been cleared by doctors to be a full participant at practice. Daniels has been dealing with a knee sprain over the last few weeks. He suffered the injury against the Green Bay Packers in Week 2 and was sidelined for the past two games.
