A United Airlines flight from Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport was evacuated Tuesday afternoon after landing at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport following what federal officials have now confirmed was a bomb threat.

All flights into and out of one of the United States' busiest runways were halted Tuesday due to a security threat, the Federal Aviation Authority said.
