WWE has filed to trademark the new name for an upcoming special show after a change was officially made yesterday.

The upcoming NXT vs. TNA show has been renamed Showdown after complaints about the original branding of ‘InVasion’.

The 2025 edition of NXT No Mercy concluded last Saturday, and the developmental brand then delivered the September 30 episode of WWE NXT.
