Rapper Doechii won best rap album at Sunday's Grammy Awards, becoming the third woman in the award show's history to claim the prize.

Kendrick Lamar is a 20-time Grammy Award winner, and he could be adding more to that tally later Sunday night (Feb. 2). Lamar's "Not Like Us" won in the best rap song, best rap performance and best music video categories during the 2025 Grammy Premiere Ceremony ahead of Sunday night's prime-time telecast.

The performance revolved around a “clone factory,” with the Florida native’s trademark airboat making an appearance, and incorporated her recognizable elaborate choreography. It was part of a whole medley performance of the Best New Artist nominees, following Benson Boone and preceding Teddy Swims.

The Swamp Princess is officially a Grammy winner. Doechii took home the award for Best Rap Album at the 2025 Grammys, for her mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal. In her acceptance speech, the Tampa-born rapper dedicated her win to Black women whose dreams have been doubted.
