Glendale police were involved in a shooting in Phoenix on Tuesday morning. The incident occurred near 29th Avenue and McDowell Road.

A teenager named Aaron Williams was fatally shot near a local event in downtown Phoenix, and police are seeking information from the public to find the suspect.

On the afternoon of Jan. 6, officers responded to the area of 29th Street and Weir Avenue where a toddler appeared to have been shot, according to Phoenix police spokesperson Sgt. Jen Zak. The suspects fled the scene before officers arrived, according to Zak.

Besides the shooting suspect, Phoenix Police say they also arrested a 29-year-old man for allegedly hindering prosecution.

Police are investigating a shooting that left a teenage boy seriously hurt near 7th Street and Roosevelt Street late Friday night.
