The Sixers are bringing back veteran shooting guard Eric Gordon for the 2025-26 season, the team announced on Tuesday night.

As their X account announced, Eric Gordon has signed a deal to return to the Sixers. In a statement released from the team, president of basketball operations Daryl Morey said, “Eric is a prolific shot maker whose ability to space the floor will serve our rotation well.

Guerschon Yabusele is headed to the New York Knicks, and while retaining the 29-year-old would have been among my top priorities, Watford would have been one of my primary targets with the taxpayer's mid-level exception to replace Yabusele in the event he was departing.
