Elias Rodriguez, the suspect in the shooting deaths of two Israeli Embassy staffers, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and the murder of foreign officials, among other charges. Rodriguez is suspected of killing Israeli Embassy staffers Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim on Wednesday evening outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington.

The two people shot and killed outside a Jewish museum in Washington were young staffers at the Israeli Embassy who were soon to be engaged.

“Yaron and Sarah were our friends and colleagues. They were in the prime of their lives,” the Israeli Embassy in Washington wrote on social media.
