Milan Lucic and Brendan Smith have each accepted professional tryout offers (PTOs) as they look to extend their NHL careers. Lucic joins the St. Louis Blues camp after nearly two years away, while Smith will compete with the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Boston United have signed Birmingham City centre-back Tommy Fogarty on loan until January. The 21-year-old has previously been on loan at Ebbsfleet United and Scottish Championship side Dunfermline Athletic.
