Martin Lewis has been given clarification from the Chancellor of the Exchequer over whether people will have to pay tax if the State Pension exceeds the current tax threshold. Rachel Reeves confirmed at the Budget earlier this week that the starting point at which you pay income tax will stay frozen until 2031.
