Washington Commanders wide receiver Luke McCaffrey is heading to injured reserve because of a broken collarbone and cornerback Marshon Lattimore is feared to have a torn ACL, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Coach Dan Quinn said Monday that cornerback Marshon Lattimore will miss the rest of the season after injuring the ACL in his left knee during Washington’s 38-14 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Wide receiver and kick returner Luke McCaffrey suffered a fractured collarbone that appears likely to knock him out for the season, too.
The Seattle Seahawks rolled to a 38-14 win over the Washington Commanders on Sunday night. Sam Darnold was flawless in the first half, throwing four touchdown passes and pacing Seattle’s early romp. Washington trailed big at halftime and never recovered.

In another move, the Commanders signed cornerback Tre Hawkins to the practice squad. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound Hawkins was a sixth-round pick by the New York Giants in the 2023 NFL draft. New York waived Hawkins during final roster cuts this summer.
