Mega Millions players could be a billionaire as the jackpot is worth an estimated $1.15 billion for the Friday, Dec. 27 drawing.

The California Lottery said the winning ticket was sold at Circle K (Sunshine Food and Gas) on Rhonda Road in Cottonwood. The winning ticket matched the white balls 3, 7, 37, 49, 55 and the gold Mega Ball 6.

The winning ticket for the $1.22 billion Mega Millions jackpot sold in California, the first time the grand prize was won in more than three months.

Mega Millions drew the numbers for a jackpot worth an estimated $1.22 billion late Friday but it was not immediately clear if there was a big winner. The numbers were 3, 7, 37, 49, 55 and the gold Mega Ball 6.
