On Tuesday night, in New York City, they united in a special talk show crossover of Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ABC and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on CBS.
"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" will air shows Monday through Friday taped in advance in front of an audience at the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Howard Gilman Opera House.
Guests will include Stephen Colbert – whose own New York-based late-night show was canceled earlier this year – Spike Lee, Tom Hanks, Bruce Springsteen, Ryan Reynolds and Emily Blunt. Kimmel quipped on the show Thursday night that “what we have to do now is stay on the move so the FCC can’t get us.”
