Kate Winslet has opened up about the possibility of a sequel to Christmas movie The Holiday, which also starred Jude Law, Cameron Diaz and Jack Black.

The 49- year-old star played Iris Simpkins in the 2006 festive rom-com alongside Cameron Diaz, Jack Black, and Jude Law. Diaz plays Amanda Woods in the original film while Black and Law play Miles Dumont and Graham Simpkins respectively.

While Kate Winslet claimed that she’s never been approached for a sequel to the 2006 movie, she sounded interested in reprising her role as Iris. She seems to be under the impression that there's room for another story to be told. However, it's still unclear as to whether it'll actually come to fruition.
