The National Hurricane Center has begun issuing advisories for Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine (PTC9), which is expected to become tropical storm Imelda within the next day. The system will bring tropical storm conditions to parts of the Bahamas this weekend and could affect the southeastern United States early next week.
