DeKalb Watershed Management announced Saturday night, Jan.18, that it had lifted the remaining boil water advisory for the county following last week’s major water main break on Clairmont Road. The only area that was still under the advisory was along Clairmont Road between North Decatur Road and Scott Boulevard.

Speaking with Channel 2 Action News Thursday morning, county officials said repair work is ongoing and the boil water advisory and traffic closures are still in place. Another update on repair progress is expected later on Thursday morning.

DeKalb County officials say repairs are finished on a 30-inch water main break along Clairmont Road. Crews have been working on the repairs since Tuesday, leaving some people with little to no water pressure.
