Crews responded to Lincoln Avenue just before 11:20 a.m. Thursday and found the fire in a hallway on the third floor.

Firefighters were called to report of a fire at the Presidential Place Apartments in Cranston on Thursday morning. The call came in around 11 a.m. at 70 Lincoln Avenue. According to the Cranston Fire Chief Robert Ryan,

Cranston firefighters made quick work of a fire that broke out inside an apartment building late Thursday morning. Crews responded to Lincoln Avenue just before 11:20 a.m. and found the fire in a hallway on the third floor.

Several fire departments are battling a fire at an apartment complex in Fairfield Thursday morning. The call about the fire came in before 8:30 a.m., according to the Fairfield Fire Department. One building was on fire at Serenity Apartments on Forest Drive which has 30-50 units.
