The threat to these structures often builds when storms affect the region, as is the case with the two latest storms, even as they headed further out in the Atlantic.

Two people have died and at least five homes have collapsed as a result of the twin storms that are fewer than 500 miles apart in the Atlantic Ocean.

Hurricane Imelda formed Wednesday morning in the Atlantic Ocean with a forecast track showing it’s expected to move toward Bermuda.

The advisory also states that the storm is moving toward Bermuda and away from the southeastern United States.
