Renée Zellweger is back as Bridget Jones in the trailer for the fourth film in the rom-com franchise, "Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy."

The fourth installment in the 'Bridget Jones' franchise, the film will head directly to streaming in the U.S. via Peacock on Feb. 13, 2025.

No genre is immune to the problems of the legacy-quel, as you always need a good reason to “go back to the well.” Director Michael Morris’ Peacock Original Film looks like it actually has that approach locked down, as we learn that Bridget (Renée Zellweger) has lost Mark (Colin Firth) four years ago, and is just getting back into the dating world.
