Black Sabbath received a perk following the Back to the Beginning farewell show on July 5. The daylong event, which marked the final live performance of the Ozzy Osbourne-fronted British heavy metal band, spawned the return of three of the band’s 1970s classic songs to hard rock music charts as well as a major uptick in streams.
After Metallica’s performance, Osbourne, 76, came out on stage and performed a five-song set by himself, before he was joined by his former bandmates Tony Iommi, Bill Ward and Geezer Butler for four of the group’s songs.
