Iga Swiatek’s Wimbledon championship has moved her up to No. 3 in the WTA rankings, and Amanda Anisimova’s runner-up finish allowed the American to break into the top 10 for the first time at No. 7.

Iga Swiatek shut out Amanda Anisimova in the Wimbledon women's final Saturday in a match that lasted just under an hour. Swiatek won in consecutive sets, 6-0, 6-0. It was the first women's final at the tournament in 114 years in which one player failed to claim a single game.

Amanda Anisimova kept apologizing to the spectators at Centre Court -- for her performance in a 6-0, 6-0 loss to Iga Swiatek in the Wimbledon final and for the emotions that made it hard to deliver a speech afterward.
