Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting on the city’s south side that left a 43-year-old dead late Wednesday night.

One person is dead and a person of interest is in custody following a shooting incident Monday afternoon, authorities say.

Someone fired several rounds at work trucks parked along 23rd St. near Burnham in the early morning hours Monday.
