Evan Dunn, the Golden police officer killed last week in a suspected DUI crash on Colorado 58 will be honored in a private memorial service on Wednesday.

Jacob Foss, who was studying at New England Tractor Trailer Training School, was a Marine and served with the MBTA Transit and Hingham police departments.

The Golden police officer who was struck and killed by a suspected DUI driver has been identified. Golden Police Officer Evan Dunn was just 33 years old when he was killed on Wednesday night.  Dunn was one of two officers who were investigating a crash when they were struck just before 5 p.

The two Golden officers, a man and a woman, were investigating the crash near Washington Avenue and were outside of their vehicle when they were struck, Golden Police Chief Joe Harvey said

Authorities have released the identity of a woman and her infant who were killed last week during an incident that led up to a shooting involving Independence, Missouri police. Blue Springs Police Department Capt. Kyle Flowers confirmed Maria Pike, 34, and Destinii Hope, 2 months, were both killed in the incident at Oval Spring Apartments.

Police say the 47-year-old pulled a gun on officers after they responded to reports of a domestic disturbance.
