At 5 p.m. Saturday, the National Hurricane Center issued an advisory stating that Humberto found new strength and had evolved from a Category 4 hurricane into a Category 5 hurricane with sustained winds of 160 mph.
As of 5 a.m. on Sunday, Humberto was around 585 miles south of Bermuda. The hurricane is not expected to make landfall, but will likely bring swells and rough seas to portions of the Caribbean islands,
Hurricane Humberto is expected to make a close pass of Bermuda early this week. Humberto has 145 mph winds but expected to continue to weaken after reaching Category 5 strength over the weekend.
