Nine people have died following dangerous flooding in the state, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear has confirmed.

Several roads in Muhlenberg County and surrounding areas could be affected by floodwaters as heavy rainfall continues to hit parts of Kentucky. The map below shows these areas that could be affected.

State officials addressed the public Thursday morning amid a state of emergency in Kentucky as weather-related hazards have taken the lives of 14 people.
