Senate Democrats confirmed President Joe Biden's 235th judge, beating Donald Trump's record from his first term.

With the Senate voting Friday to confirm California jurist Serena Raquel Murillo, the tally of judges given lifetime seats on the bench under President Joe Biden reached 235. Former President Donald Trump successfully nominated 234.

The Biden administration announced the cancellation of student debt for an additional 55,000 public service workers on Friday.
