Some rose varieties including old-wood bloomers and hybrid tea roses shouldn't be pruned in fall. Pruning can make them vulnerable in winter or reduce blooms.

Organic garlic bulbs shouldn't have been coated with anything. Plant them so they're not touching, a hand width apart or even a bit less. The depth should be at least four inches to six inches.
