An affordable housing developer has plans to add another complex and hundreds of homes on Alum Rock Avenue in East San Jose.

The theater will replace the Charles of Glen Cove hardware store, which had been a community staple until it closed in 2020.

The St. Peter-based company will be closing all three of its Minnesota locations, including the St. Cloud store.
