Optimism was high for a do-over for Rodgers, despite again thinking about life outside of football when he pondered being Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s vice presidential nominee for the 2024 election. While Rodgers is still preaching hope for this season with seven games left, many in Gang Green don't see much light.

Rodgers threw for only 151 yards in the loss, which dropped the Jets to 3-7 on the season. One nightmare of a play in the second half seemed to sum up this Jets team pretty well. Trailing 24-6, Rodgers and the offense went for it on fourth-and-goal from the four-yard line.

The quarterback, soon to turn 41, indicated he wants to come back while holding out hope that the 3-7 Jets could still have a successful 2024 campaign.
