Zooey Deschanel is grieving over the loss of her childhood home, where her parents still lived before the property was lost to the Palisades Fire that is still burning in Los Angeles County.

Zooey Deschanel revealed on her 45th birthday on Friday, Jan. 17, that her and her sister Emily Deschanel’s childhood home burned down in the ongoing Palisades Fire.
