While Al Horford hasn't been what many expected when he signed with the Golden State Warriors, a new big man could take his role and minutes.
The Warriors have won back-to-back games in a stellar start to the season to push their record to 4-1 after the first five games. They beat the Grizzlies 131-118 yesterday and easily overcame the shorthanded Clippers tonight as the final score was 98-79 in their favor.

Al Horford's role within the Golden State Warriors rotation has been made clear
Horford, 39, has come off the bench in all three of his games since moving to the Bay Area. According to Steve Kerr, speaking during his postgame news conference, his preference is to keep Horford as part of the Warriors' second unit, with the view to inserting him into the closing lineup when the matchups make sense.
Al Horford joined the Golden State Warriors over the offseason, but he said his prior run-ins with Steph Curry had him questioning the move.
Horford recorded zero points (0-8 FG, 0-7 3Pt), seven rebounds, two assists and two steals across 27 minutes during Wednesday's 121-116 loss to Sacramento.
Steve Kerr told reporters the veteran center will miss the front end of the upcoming back-to-back, citing Ivica Zubac and the Clippers' size.
The Golden State Warriors are once again legitimate championship contenders thanks to a couple of major additions they made over the last year. It started by landing Jimmy Butler at last season's trade deadline. Then, over the summer, the Warriors signed Al Horford, the ageless wonder.
The Warriors are opting to keep Horford out for the front end of their back-to-back set. The veteran big man should be back in the lineup for Wednesday's tilt against the Kings. Quinten Post should help pick up the slack at center Tuesday, with Trayce Jackson-Davis being another option to enter the rotation,
