Michigan’s first human case of West Nile Virus in 2022 has been detected in an Oakland County resident. The case was detected in a blood donation. The person is not experiencing symptoms of illness.
The first Oakland County mosquito pool of 2021 tested positive for West Nile virus in Troy, according to the Oakland County Health Division.
